Overview

Striper Pro is a powerful and easy-to-use extension for OpenCart that allows you to accept payments via Stripe, the secure and seamless way to process credit card payments online. This integration brings Stripe's user-friendly Checkout experience to your OpenCart store, enabling you to effortlessly accept payments.
When customers choose to pay, they are securely redirected to Stripe's Checkout page. Once the payment is completed, they are returned to your store. This ensures both maximum security and a smooth transaction process.

Use the following test data when making test payments:

Card number: 4242 4242 4242 4242
Expiry date: Any future date, e.g. 12/34
CVC: Any 3 digits (4 digits for American Express)
Other form fields: Can contain any test data

For other test scenarios (successful/declined payments, 3D Secure, etc.) use other Stripe test cards.

System Requirements

Module for OpenCart v.3.x.x.x requires PHP 5.6.0 and higher.
This module embeds the "Stripe PHP Library".

Installation and Configuration

Go to Extensions -> Installer in admin side and upload extension file striperpro_oc3.x.x.x.ocmod.zip.
In admin side, go to System -> Users -> User Groups and set up permissions to Administrator group:
In the Access Permission field, check the checkbox for "extension/payment/striperpro".
In the Modify Permission field, check the checkbox for "extension/payment/striperpro".
Go to Extensions -> Modifications and refresh modifications cache by clicking the refresh button on top right.
Go to Extensions -> Extensions, choose the extension type "Payments" and install "Striper Pro (Stripe Checkout Module)".
Click "Edit" button next to "Striper Pro (Stripe Checkout Module)" to configure the module.
Fill in the fields with Stripe API keys, select the access mode (Live or Test), fill in the Webhook Secret Key (manually or automatically by clicking the "Create" button), change Status to "Enabled" and save the settings.
In addition to the settings mentioned, you can change other settings fields as you wish.
How to get Stripe API keys and Webhook Secret Key, you can read in the next section.

Stripe Setup

Create a Stripe account here, activate it, and log in.
Go to the Settings > Payments > Payment methods page and activate the payment methods you need.
Go to Developers > API keys and find your test and live keys.
Note: This step can be skipped, as the webhook can be created and configured automatically on the module settings page by clicking the "Create" button in the "Webhook Secret Key" field.
Go to Developers > Webhooks and click the + Add endpoint button.
In the Add an endpoint tab, enter https://your-store.com/index.php?route=extension/payment/striperpro/webhook in the Endpoint URL field (where https://your-store.com should be replaced with your store URL).
In the Add an endpoint tab, click the + Select events button, enter checkout.session.completed in the search bar, check the checkbox, and click the Add events button.
After this, you will be taken to the page of the newly created webhook. Click on the Reveal link, then copy the displayed string. This value must be entered in the Webhook Secret Key field in the module settings.

Usage

Once the module is installed and configured, your customers will be able to use Stripe Checkout to complete their purchases on your OpenCart store. The checkout process will redirect them to Stripe's secure payment page, and upon successful payment, they will be redirected back to your store.

To view the list of Stripe payments, go to the Sales > Stripe Payments page in the admin panel.

To make a refund, click the Refund button in the Actions column of the Payments List table.

I make every effort to answer all user questions; however, product support is primarily limited to assistance with the initial installation and fixing identified bugs. Compatibility issues with specific user themes or custom builds based on the OpenCart engine are not covered.

License Agreement

SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

This Software License Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of the software ("Software"). By installing, copying, or using the Software, you ("Licensee") agree to the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.

1. License Grant
The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensee is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the Software solely for its intended purpose.

2. Restrictions
a. Licensee may not copy, modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of the Software.
b. Licensee may not distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or transfer the Software to any third party.
c. The Software may only be used on the specific domain, server, or instance as authorized at the time of licensing.

3. Ownership
All intellectual property rights in and to the Software are and shall remain the sole property of the author(s) or rights holder(s). This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to Licensee.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. LICENSEE ASSUMES ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

5. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR(S) OR RIGHTS HOLDER(S) BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

6. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. The rights granted herein will terminate automatically if Licensee fails to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement. Upon termination, Licensee must destroy all copies of the Software in their possession.

7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the author(s) or rights holder(s), without regard to conflict of laws principles.

8. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements, discussions, and understandings, whether written or oral.

By using the Software, Licensee acknowledges that they have read this Agreement, understand its terms, and agree to be bound by them.
